This popular Broadway attraction is hard to miss! Located within an upside down house, WonderWorks takes visitors through an exciting and educational tour. A self proclaimed “amusement park for the mind”, WonderWorks offers more than 100 unique attractions, making it ideal for guests of any age. In addition to an impressive selection of hands-on exhibits, WonderWorks also offers lazer tag, two obstacle courses (one indoors and one outdoors), ziplining across Lake Broadway, and an on-site café.

Head underwater and make a few new nautical friends at the Ripley’s Aquarium. This wildly popular attraction offers over 85,000 square feet of space and is the most visited aquarium in the entire state. Then, guests use this wand to explore and interact with the expansive MagiQuest kingdom, performing tasks and unlocking special features. Guests seeking a premier movie experience will definitely want to splurge on tickets at “The Big D” Theatre. This former I-MAX theatre offers plush recliner-style seating, the latest surround sound system, and a giant custom screen measuring 78 –feet wide and 35-feet tall. The Big D screens one movie at a time that varies on a weekly basis.

Do you have the need for speed? If so, be sure to check out Broadway Grand Prix! Recently renovated, Broadway Grand Prix offers seven unique go-kart tracks including tracks for children and families. But don’t stop at a little racing; guests can also enjoy mini-golf, a spacious arcade, the rock climbing wall, thrill rides, and a dedicated children’s area with carnival rides. Palace Theatre is known for offering quality family friendly entertainment at a price you can afford. New for 2015 is the “Carnival of Magic” show that will run all summer long! This exciting new show will feature several guest performers from the America’s Got Talent finals including Mr. Christian Stoinev and Ben Blaque. Other seasonal shows include the “Hot Jersey Nights” production and “Christmas Wonderland” in addition to several special event performances throughout the year.

Stock up on peanuts and cracker jacks and get ready for a game of Myrtle Beach Pelicans baseball! This minor league affiliate of the Chicago Cubs kicks off baseball season in April and plays throughout the summer leaving plenty of opportunities to grab tickets to a home game. The team and management put on entertainment throughout the game and in-between innings to keep your family busy and offer tempting promotions throughout the week like Wiener Wednesday ($1 hotdogs all game long) and Thirsty Thursday ($1 domestic beers from 6pm – 8pm).
