The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk St. Patrick’s Day Festival is one of the area’s biggest and most exciting events. The festival kicks off at noon and will feature live music throughout the day. Elise Testone formerly from American Idol is headlining this event along with several other local and regional artists. The event will also feature plenty of food vendors, a designated children’s area, and the area’s largest Irish beer garden. This lively event will wrap up around midnight.

 

Broadway at The Beach Events

Get a head start on those St. Patrick’s calories by running the Tilted Kilt 5K. This race begins at 8:30 am and will wind around Broadway at The Beach. Participants are encouraged to dress to impress in their best Irish gear. After the race, runners are invited to enjoy a full Irish breakfast spread. That afternoon and evening, several restaurants at Broadway will feature live music and Irish food and drink specials. This is a great place to hang out sans-children if you are alone for the weekend.

 

Market Common Irish Festival

Looking for an event that will offer a little more elbow room? Head to  Market Common for a fun, family friendly festival. There will be plenty of Irish entertainment, Irish food, and the area’s best selection of traditional Irish beers. The younger tikes in the group will love the kiddy play area which will offer inflatables, face painting, games, and more! This event starts at 11 am and wraps up around 7 pm.
