The Coastal Youth Ballet Theatre presents a production of the popular Christmas tale, The Nutcracker, along with students from Coastal Dance Centre. Night of a Thousand Candles | Brookgreen Gardens | December 1-2, 7-9, & 14-17

Night of a Thousand Candles isn’t necessarily a tree lighting, but it is a beautiful display of lights nonetheless. Check out one of the Grand Strand’s most popular and breathtaking holiday attractions at Brookgreen Gardens. As the name suggests, thousands of candles are placed throughout the gardens, and as evening approaches, the gardens produce a beautiful glow. Live music fills the air through the evening. A Very Broadway Christmas Tree Lighting | Broadway at the Beach | December 2, 6 pm

Take a visit to Broadway at the Beach for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting! From 1pm-4pm you can enjoy live entertainment and refreshments, leading up to the penultimate celebration of lighting the tree. Be sure to stay afterward for a holiday fireworks display at 8 pm.
