Myrtle Beach Pelicans Opening Weekend | Pelicans Stadium | April 5th

hotdog at a baseball gameTake your family out to the ballgame and grab tickets to the Myrtle Beach Pelicans opening weekend! The birds will take on the Frederick Keys for a four-game opening series beginning Thursday, April 5th through Sunday, April 8th. The Pelicans will then host the Winston-Salem Dash for a three-game homestand from Monday, April 9th through Wednesday, April 11th. In case you haven’t been, Pelicans baseball games are fun for the whole family and include tons entertainment throughout the evening to keep everyone engaged. 44th Annual Art in the Park | Valor Park & Chapin Park | April 7th – 8th & April 14th 15th

Get out and enjoy the spring weather and check out art from across the nation at the April Art in the Park event. Hundreds of exhibitors will set up shop for two days at Valor Park at The Market Common and Chapin Park next to the Myrtle Beach Library to showcase their finest work – varying from handmade jewelry, woodwork, and sculpture to metal work, paintings, and much more. Art in the Park will take place at Valor Park April 7th and 8th and at Chapin Park April 14th and 15h. The art show kicks off at 10 am and runs through 4 pm. Blues & Jazz Fest | La Belle Amie Vineyard | April 8th

Kick back and enjoy the sultry sounds of spring at La Belle Amie’s Blues & Jazz Fest. This lively event will feature live entertainment, tasty treats from The Vineyard Grill, complimentary vineyard tours, and plenty of wine – of course! 13th Annual Myrtle Beach Film Festival | The Market Common | April 16th – 21st

This annual event takes place at Stone Theatres at The Market Common and will feature works from filmmakers from across the globe. Aside from viewing award-winning films, there are several other film festival related events taking place throughout the week. Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival | Downtown Myrtle Beach | April 20th – 22nd

Come one, come hungry to the Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival at the Pavilion Place between 8th and 9th avenues north in downtown Myrtle Beach! This oceanfront foodie fest will feature over 30 food trucks serving mouthwatering concoctions and delectables from seafood, barbecue, Italian offerings, cocktails, desserts, and Latin cuisine! You’re not going to want to miss this unique culinary festival. The festival kicks off on Friday, April 20th from 6 pm to 10 pm and runs Saturday, April 21st from 11 am to 10 pm and Sunday, April 22nd from 11 am to 6 pm. Admission is free to the public.

 

Horry County Fair | Myrtle Beach Speedway | April 20th  – 29th

This annual event features tons of exciting rides, live entertainment, and plenty of foods on a stick and other classic fair favorites. Gate admission is only $5 / adults, $3 / children 5-11, and free for the youngest guests. Ride tickets may be purchased individually or guests can purchase an unlimited ride wristband.
