Giant Buffet at the Giant Crab Seafood Restaurant

One of the best things about a trip to Myrtle Beach is the abundance of tasty seafood, so look for the big giant crab who leads you into the door of the Giant Crab Seafood Restaurant.

Overlooking the Intercostal Waterway in the Restaurant Row section of Highway 17, this restaurant resembles an authentic Fisherman’s Wharf and includes a 40-foot waterfall, a lazy river and a 50-foot lighthouse!

Make sure you come hungry, because there are over 170 items in the Giant Buffet. In addition to a wide array of broiled, fried and baked seafood, you will find mouthwatering dishes like Crab Imperial, Stuffed Mushrooms, Oysters Rockefeller, Seafood Strudel and dozens of others not normally found on a buffet.  You can also stop by the Steam Bar, for a variety of steamed and cooked shellfish including peel-and-eat shrimp, steamed oysters, mussels, clams and crab legs.

If you think you’ve indulged in enough seafood, stop at the carving station to try the juicy prime rib, or melt-in-your-mouth Virginia ham. The buffet also has roast beef, barbecued beef ribs and chicken.  But don’t forget about the fresh vegetables, homemade soups, salads, and freshly baked bread.

And if you’ve managed to save room, there is a scrumptious dessert bar filled with cakes, cobblers, fresh fruit, and ice cream!

Less than 10 miles from any of the Myrtle Beach Resorts hotels you may be staying at, The Giant Crab Seafood Restaurant is an experience you can’t miss!
